3 new halls of Star Cineplex are being inaugurated in Mirpur

Star Cineplex brought good news for the people of Mirpur, Dhaka. The new branch of the popular multiplex cinema hall Star Cineplex is going to be launched on August 20 in Mirpur. The news was confirmed by Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, senior marketing manager of Star Cineplex. It is learned that this cineplex has been constructed on the site of Sony Cinema Hall No Mirpur-2. There are three screens in total. Depending on the size of the hall, the number of seats is 408, 225 and 136 respectively. Mahbub Rahman Ruhel, chairman of Star Cineplex, said that the halls have been built with all the facilities of a world-class cinema hall including an aesthetic environment, a state-of-the-art sound system, giant screen. The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized a virtual discussion program along with a short biopic of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman titled “Bangabandhu: Bojre Tomar Baaje Banshi” to commemorate the 2021 National Mourning Day on 14 August. The program began with a minute of silence to remember and pay homage to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all the martyrs who were brutally murdered on 15 August 1975. On 14 August, 2021 the Institute of Certified General Accountants of Bangladesh (CGA Bangladesh) provided food aid to the families affected by the Corona epidemic on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. As part of its humanitarian assistance program, CGA Bangladesh distributes daily necessities to about 200 families on the premises of East Basabo, Kadamtala School and College.
