Very few modern jobs involve working on one thing at a time these days. A typical work morning now consists of keeping a spreadsheet open next to a client email, squeezing in a zoom call in the corner and refreshing your inbox every five minutes. Let's also not forget the countless tabs that you keep opened in your browser, half of which you have forgotten why you had opened in the first place. This is what office work looks like now, and most of our older and smaller screens weren't exactly built for all this. A single 24-inch monitor can only do so much.
