On 14 August, 2021 the Institute of Certified General Accountants of Bangladesh (CGA Bangladesh) provided food aid to the families affected by the Corona epidemic on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
As part of its humanitarian assistance program, CGA Bangladesh distributes daily necessities to about 200 families on the premises of East Basabo, Kadamtala School and College.
Mr. Chitta Ranjan Das, Commissioner, 5th Ward, East Basabo was present as the Chief Guest, Mr. CGA Bangladesh President CGA Zahirul Qayyum, Senior Vice President CGA Abu Naem Mohammad Mr. Yahya Sohail, Chairman, East Basabo School and College and President, Rotary Club of Dhaka Dhaka North East, Md. Saiful Alam, Principal, East Basabo School and College and other dignitaries were present.
Convener of Humanitarian Aid Implementation Committee CGA Mehedi Haider Chowdhury presided over the function.
Such programs will continue in collaboration with the members of the Institute and those who have contributed financially, mentally and physically to the implementation of this program and are thanked and appreciated at the event.
