11 students from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh have completed their Duke of Edinburgh Award journey and received their Gold awards and certificates. Lt Col Md. Foyzul Islam (Retd), Registrar of ULAB, represented ULAB at the event along with Moinak Kanungo, Award Coordinator and Faculty at ULAB, and Abu Bakar Siddik, Award Leader of The Duke of Edinburgh Award Program at ULAB. Abdullah Sorowar Alif, Asif Faiyed, Ishtiaque Anowar, Md. A Mobile Filmmaking workshop is going to happen at ULAB

A four-day Mobile Filmmaking workshop is going to be jointly organized by the Dhaka International Film Festival (DIMFF) and the Science Film Festival starting on December 23. The workshop is open to students in grades six through twelve from any educational institution. After hands-on training, students will make films on the theme of "Equal Rights in Science" at this girls-only event. The workshop will be held on December 23, 24, 30, and 31 at the Permanent Campus of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), and Goethe Institute Bangladesh is the subsidiary of the workshop. Microsoft and LinkedIn announced the next step in the Skills for Jobs program, providing free access to 350 courses and six new Career Essentials Certificates for six of the most in-demand jobs in the digital economy.
