Grameenphone returns to topline growth supported by enhanced customer experience and digitalization

Grameenphone Ltd. reported total revenues of BDT 3,576 crore for the second quarter of 2021, registering an 8.1% growth from the same period last year. 19 cattle markets to start from July 17

Nineteen cattle markets for sale of sacrificial animals in two city corporations in the capital will start from July 17. Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) have already leased out the markets including Gabtoli cattle market in the capital. The bidders have already started making makeshift sheds to protect the cattle in the markets during the inclement weather. The managements of both the city corporations directed the traders to start selling animals from four days before Eid and continue till Eid day. Google removes nine apps for stealing Facebook password

Google has removed apps with 5.8 million downloads from the Play Store that were stealing users’ Facebook login details. Google has banned the developers of all nine apps from the store, meaning they will not be allowed to submit new apps. The malware apps offered useful services like photo editing and framing, exercise and training, horoscopes and removal of unwanted files from Android devices.
