The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) is expanding its graduate placement opportunities by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dnet. The MoU has been signed on 17 October 2021 at the ULAB’s permanent campus in Mohammadpur. ULAB’s Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Shamsad Mortuzaand Dnet’s Executive Director M. Shahadat Hossain signed the agreement.
Dnet is a social enterprise that designs innovative product and service solutions for women, children, and youth in rural and urban settings to create social impact, and for institutions to enhance capacity and productivity. The MoU sets for the terms and understanding between the ULAB and the Dnet to onboard Interns as part of the regular Internship program of Dnet. Both parties are desirous of placing ULAB undergraduate and graduate students as interns in Dnet, in the final term of the student’s academic program. Interns will also receive academic credit for undertaking the internship.
The MoU was signed with the presence of Professor Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to the ULAB Board of Trustees, Lt. Col. Foyzul Islam (Retd), Registrar of ULAB, Abu Hena M Rasel, Director of ULAB’s International Affairs & Career Services Office, Muhammad Faisal Chowdhury, Assistant Professor and Advisor of ULAB Communications Office, Syed Majedur Rahman, Head of People & Culture and Administration of Dnet, Farzana Ahmed, Manager, People & Culture of Dnet, and other officials.
