According to counterpoint market monitor service data released in Q2 2021, realme’s 5G share in emerging markets has gone up from 8.8% in Q1 to 15.9% in Q2 (smartphone shipments).
realme is now prioritizing 5G products as the world is gearing up to embrace this new technology. To offer smartphones equipped with cutting-edge technology to the young users, realme is streamlining its multiple product lines.
realme’s Founder and CEO Sky Li said, “realme’s next goal is to achieve a dual-100 million target – shipping another 100 million handsets by the end of 2022 and completing the same milestone within the 2023 calendar year.”
