Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Eastern University celebrated EEE Day 2022 on 10th August in a festive mode. The day-long program was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Vice Chancellor of Eastern University.
Dr. Shamsuddoha Khondaker, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Eastern University was the chief guest. Prof. Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Vice-chancellor of Eastern University was the guest of honor. Professor of EEE department Dr. Engr. Aminul Hoque, Prof. Dr. Md Mahfuzur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Engr. Badrul Hasan Khan, Chairman and Director of Ridge Park Holdings Ltd. was the Special Guest. The program was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mirza Golam Rabbani, Chairperson, Department of EEE, Eastern University.
A Seminar on Power System was held where Engr. S M Noor Uddin, Managing Director & CEO of Summit Bibiyana Power Company Limited was the keynote speaker of the seminar.
A colorful rally was brought out from the university which marched on different roads of Ashuliya Model Town. A large number of students from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering participated in the rally. The day-long program included Project Showcase, MATLAB Contest, Quiz Competition, Cricket Tournament, Table Tennis Competition, Pillow Passing competition, Cultural Program and Raffle draw.
