International School Dhaka (ISD) celebrated the Victory Day of Bangladesh

Honoring the spirit of the country’s glorious victory, International School Dhaka (ISD) celebrated the Victory Day of Bangladesh this year with a whole-school assembly. At the event, students exhibited performances that showcased the values of our historic liberation war and its architect – Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. ISD paid this tribute to the supreme sacrifice of the martyrs and their families on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the nation’s victory. The school expects to make the forthcoming generations more aware of the chapters of 1971, which led to the birth of Bangladesh, through such arrangements.

ULAB Wins Silver in Wharton-QS Reimagine Education Awards

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) won the Social Science Silver Award for 2021 in the Wharton–Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Reimagine Education Awards; otherwise known as the “Oscars of Education.” The ULAB entry is the Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival (DIMFF), which is an outreach program of the Media Studies and Journalism Department. Dr. Alamgir Moti nominated Honorary Professor

ULAB organized Bookkeeper Training Certificate Awarding Ceremony

ULAB School of Business organized the Bookkeeper Training Certificate Awarding Ceremony at its campus in Mohammadpur on November 11, 2021, Thursday. 21 students from the BBA program received certificates after attending multiple training sessions on the BookKeeper App followed by a test. JU BNCC platoon gets new ‘acting teacher’

Mehedi Mamun, JU Jahangirnagar University Marketing department associate professor Md. Rakibul Hasan has been made acting teacher of the JU unit platoon of Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC). An office order signed by JU acting registrar Rahima Kaneez said the information. The office order said, Md. Rakibul Hasan, associate professor of the Marketing department has been appointed as acting teacher of BNCC- JU platoon. He will serve in this post until further direction. He will get salary and other increments as per the existing system. The order will be activated from the day of his joining in this post, the order read. Md. Rakibul Hasan will be succeeded by Microbiology department's lecturer Taslin Jahan Mou.
