ULAB Library of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized a collaborative workshop with Elsevier on Mendeley: A Reference Manager for ULAB Students on 20 October 2022 at its Research Building Library, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
Mendeley is a free reference management software to manage bibliographic data and related research materials. It stores, manages, and cites bibliographic references, such as books, articles, and others.
Professor Dr. Din Mohammad Sumon Rahman, Department of Media Studies and Journalism (MSJ) and Advisor, Library Affairs, ULAB gave the welcome address in the opening of the workshop. K.M. Hasan Emam, Joint Librarian and HoD, ULAB Library and Mendeley Advisor, conducted the training workshop as a resource person. Md. Noman Hossain, Library Officer, ULAB Library, and Mendeley Advisor, assisted in conducting the workshop.
86 participants from different Departments of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) attended the training workshop. The certificates will be given to the attendees directly from the Elsevier. The Elsevier provided gift items (pen and writing notebook) to the participants. The training program ended with the Q/A session.
