Rotary Club Dhaka Mahanagar provides school uniforms and sewing machines to 200 students
Rotary club Dhaka Mahanagar gifted school uniforms to 200 students and sewing machines to teach them to make clothes. Recently, a programme was held among the students of ‘Mirpur Free Primary School’ in Pallabi, Mirpur to distribute school uniforms and sewing machines.
Shakila Akhter Mimi, President of Rotary club Dhaka Mahanagar, Former President Shrabani Sarkar, and executive committee member Dr. Afsana Chowdhury handed over the school uniforms and sewing machines to the students.
Students of ‘Mirpur Free Primary School’ are delighted after getting the new dresses. After receiving the school uniform, Kumkum, a second-grade student said, "It feels amazing to get the school dress as a present. I can now wear this new outfit to school going forward.”
