National Mourning Day held at Bangladesh University

The National Mourning Day-2022 and the 47th martyrdom anniversary of the Architect of Independence and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman were held at the permanent campus of Bangladesh University (BU) at Adabor in Dhaka on August 13, 2022. Mr. R. A. M. Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury, Honorable MP, & Chairman, Parliamentary Standing Committee, Ministry of Civil Aviation & Tourism graced the program as chief guest while acting Vice Chancellor of BU Prof. Dr. Mesbah Kamal was in the chair. The publication ceremony of the Bangladesh University Journal (BUJ) was held today August 07, 2022, at Bangladesh University (BU) permanent campus, Mohammadpur, Dhaka. Distinguished fellow of Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman graced the program as chief guest while acting Vice-chancellor of BU Prof. Dr. Mesbah Kamal was in the chair. A literary event titled “Rabindra, Nazrul and Shakespeare Carnival 2022” was held in the Bangladesh University auditorium on Saturday, 30 July 2022. This event was arranged by the Department of English of the university. Prof. Dr. Mesbah Kamal, Vice Chancellor (Acting) of Bangladesh University was present as the Chief guest while Mr. Kamrul Hasan; Treasurer, Brigadier General Md.
