Eastern University has given a special award to musician and engineer Badrul Hasan Khan Jhantu in recognition of his contribution to the professional and cultural sphere. Musician and engineer Badrul Hasan Khan Jhantu was awarded by Eastern University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Shaheed Akhtar Hossain on the EEE Day-2022 celebrations of the university on Wednesday, August 10.
Musician and Engineer Badrul Hasan Khan Jhantu, chairman and director of Ridge Park Holdings Limited, spoke as a special guest on the occasion. Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Eastern University Dr. Md. Shamsuddoha Khandkar was the chief guest at the event.
The guest of honor was the Vice-Chancellor of Eastern University dr. Shaheed Akhtar Hossain. Dr. Engineer Aminul Haque, Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering and Professor Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Eastern University were present as special guests. Managing Director and CEO Engineer SM Noor Uddin of Summit Bibiana Power Company Limited was the keynote speaker of the event. President of Eastern University Electrical Engineering Department and convener of electrical engineering day celebration committee Professor Dr. Mirza Ghulam Rabbani to preside over the program.
The rally, Project Competition, MATLAB Contest, Quiz Competition, Cricket Tournament etc were organized throughout the day to celebrate EEE Day-2022 courtesy of Ridge Park Holdings Limited. Finally, there was prize distribution, a raffle draw and a cultural program.
