Likee has recently completed its exciting hashtag challenge titled ‘#MagicBauliana’ in Bangladesh, receiving immense love and excellent response.
To create more fun for users and spread the charm of Bangla folk music with multimedia form, short video creation and sharing app Likee has cooperated with Magic Bauliana, a Bangladeshi television reality show, launching the intriguing campaign #MagicBauliana and has received great success.
This innovative and highly compelling campaign comprised local dance and appointed music, thus creating an immersive environment for all users. It has received excellent performance through its creative mechanism, diversified creation, premium resources, and social media buzz.
Under the #MagicBauliana challenge, Magic Bauliana designed exclusively an immersive mechanism for users in which they can make diverse videos of their dancing and singing on a visual shining stage. Renowned content creators took part in the challenge, unleashing their inner singers and dancers to express their talents. Meanwhile, other users, inspired by these famous faces, also participated in the challenge by making amazing unique videos.
To activate content creation in the community, Likee created an official account for Magic Bauliana to spread more high-qualified hashtag videos and raise awareness with the endorsement of the official account. This initiative proved valuable as it not only helped the users garner fans but further expand the influence of Magic Bauliana. Meanwhile, Likee cooperated with 19 top local influencers such as @ Zia Uddin Robin, and @ Anika Rifa and helped share their positive impact among the young generations, therefore boosting the user engagement further.
The best part of the campaign was that it allowed users to shoot videos with official music efficiently. Upon creating a buzz on different social media platforms. This, in turn, generated awareness of the fork music to great heights and highlighted user enthusiasm through the participation of the Magic Bauliana campaign.
All of these factors contributed to the great response to the #MagicBauliana challenge. Running from May 20 to 25, 2022, the hashtag campaign received 36 million impressions, 13.8 million video views, 19 thousand video posts, and an engagement rate of 8 percent. The campaign has primarily focused on fostering an engaging and celebratory environment for everyone and established a significant impact as it boosted the recognition of the Magic Bauliana show at a large scope and helped extend awareness of the program among youngsters.
