Rumana Chowdhury, the Founder & Chief Designer of Warah was awarded the JCI Young Entrepreneurs Award for her outstanding contributions to the Bangladeshi Fashion Industry, as a young entrepreneur.
For the very first time in history, the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh recently organized the Entrepreneurship Summit and Young Entrepreneurs Awards at the Le Meridien Hotel Dhaka, said a press release.
JCI is a non-profit international non-governmental organization of young people between the ages of 18 to 40 years old and it has members in about 124 countries.
“I am so honored to be the recipient of such a prestigious award. I hope this inspires other entrepreneurs, to follow on their dreams and to make something of themselves” Rumana said and thanked JCI Bangladesh for such an initiative.
Meanwhile, Rumana Chowdhury was recognized several times before by different organizations and associations throughout her journey, said the release.
