IDLC Finance PLC delivered a strong performance in the first half of 2026, posting a Consolidated Net Profit after Tax (NPAT) of BDT 1,370 million. This records a 26% increase over the same period of the previous year. The leading NBFI’s Earnings Per Share (EPS) therefore rose to BDT 2.99 in H1 2026 from BDT 2.37 in H1 2025.IDLC’s profitability indicators strengthened during the period, with annualized Return on Equity (ROE) improving to 12.36%, and Return on Assets (ROA) improving to 1.52%. Hop Lun Apparel Limited has joined hands with the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) to facilitate industry-focused skills training for aspiring professionals in Bangladesh's ready-made garment (RMG) sector.As part of the initiative, Hop Lun is providing training support at its Unit-2 facility through eight of its employees, who serve as trainers after being evaluated and approved by BGMEA.
