Revoke Meeting with Tobacco Company and Ensure Rapid Passage of Amendment to the tobacco control law: Anti-Tobacco Youth March Demands

The government must ensure quick passage of the existing draft amendment proposal of the tobacco control law prepared by Health Ministry to safeguard the youth from deadly tobacco and revoke its decision to hold meeting with tobacco companies on the issue of tobacco control law amendment proposal. Such demands have been raised today (23 August 2025, Saturday) from an anti-tobacco Youth March, that took place in the capital. The Youth March commenced at the Central Shaheed Minar and ended at Shahbagh.
