ISD launches Young Sustainability Award to make green citizens
International School Dhaka (ISD) has launched a ‘Young Sustainability Award’ to create more awareness about environment among the young minds at the campus.
Accordingly, student projects will be nominated for the award, which would recognise the most innovative and creative idea to help beat plastic pollution, a major environmental concern in Bangladesh at present.
The award has been introduced in line with theme of the Sustainability Day observed globally on October 26 with the theme #BeatPlasticPollution. ISD offers International Baccalaureate curricula, also aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
