Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) celebrated the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On Friday, August 25, 2023, a stage drama named 'Neta je raat a nihoto holen' (The night the leader was killed) was staged at the Liberation War Museum, Agargaon, Dhaka, based on the story of Prominent fiction writer and dramatist Imdadul Haque Milan, and the drama was directed by Rezanur Rahman. On the occasion of National Mourning Day and the 48th Martyrdom Anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Institute of Certified General Accountants of Bangladesh (ICGAB) paid homage to his memory. Last Tuesday, the President of ICGAB, Muhammad Mamunur Rashid FCGA, Senior Vice President, Md. Zahirul Islam FCGA, Vice President, Sheikh Munwar Hossain FCGA, along with Council Members, offered floral tributes at the statue of Bangabandhu at Dhanmondi Road 32. After the tribute, prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the souls of those who sacrificed their lives, including Bangabandhu and his family members, on August 15th.

A MoU has been signed between e-CAB and Singer Bangladesh ltd on Tuesday (1 August 2023) to provide ‘NFC smart card’ free of its association’s members. Thru this sponsorship assistance e-cab is going to be the first association in Bangladesh among others as a frontier body to implement the Smart Bangladesh vision. e-CAB General Secretary Mohammad Abdul Wahed Tamal and Chandana Samarasinghe, Marketing Director of Singer Bangladesh Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
