The digital market ended with the sale of 3 lakh 87 thousand animals

A total of 3 lakh 87 thousand 579 animals have been sold from the online Market launched around the Eid-ul-Adha. The total value of which is 2735 crore 11 lakh, 15 thousand 678 rupees. 2 lakh 96 thousand 710 cows and buffaloes have been sold and 90 thousand 869 goats and sheep have been sold. 19 cattle markets to start from July 17

Nineteen cattle markets for sale of sacrificial animals in two city corporations in the capital will start from July 17. Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) have already leased out the markets including Gabtoli cattle market in the capital. The bidders have already started making makeshift sheds to protect the cattle in the markets during the inclement weather. The e-commerce companies will have to deliver products to the customers within five days if the payment is taken in advance. However, the delivery time for faraway districts and rural areas is ten days after the advance payment, said a gazette notification of the government today.
