
BRAC Bank has organised a customer engagement event in Daudkandi, Cumilla, aimed at creating awareness among remittance beneficiary families about the advantages of utilizing formal banking channels and importance of prudent financial management.
Held on May 24, 2025, at the Daudkandi Agent Banking Outlet, the ‘Uthan Boithak’event witnessed the participation of 160 remittance-receiving family members and local customers. The gathering was graced by the presence of senior officials from BRAC Bank, including Md. Shaheen Iqbal CFA, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Treasury and Financial Institutions; Nazmur Rahim, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Alternate Banking Channels; Shahrear Zamil, Head of Remittance and Probashi Banking; Md. Nazmul Hasan, Head of Agent Banking, BRAC Bank.
The discussion centered around BRAC Bank’s specialised remittance products such as ‘Probashi Poribar’ and ‘TARA Probashi Poribar’ accounts, along with the ongoing Remittance Campaign 2025. These initiatives are designed to encourage the use of secure banking channels for remittance inflows and to promote savings among beneficiaries, thereby ensuring long-term financial security.
