The play, written with a patriotic story to prevent brainwashing, has been loved by all classes of viewers. When talented students from our country go abroad to study, they never return home. The story is told through the character of a young man from a remote area called Habu who goes to Australia to study on a scholarship.Directed by Al Hazen, the play stars Tanjika Amin, Rashed Simanto, Ahona Rahman, Rahmat Ullah and many others. Playwright Ahsan Alamgir has already written more than 400 one-act plays and telefilms, and 62 long-running drama series.
He has been writing plays regularly since 2006. He also has a good reputation as an organizer. He has served as the general secretary and finance secretary of the Television Dramatists Association. He is also the office secretary of the Federation of Television Professionals Organization (FTPO)’s current committee. He is also a renowned novelist. Ahsan Alamgir’s latest novel “Alo Asbei” was published at the Ekushey Book Fair 2025.
