On Tuesday, June 24, a workshop titled “Good Governance, Ethics & Integrity in Corporate Environment & Personal Life” was held at the National Bank Training Institute. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Salimullah Khan, a renowned Bangladeshi academician, writer, and leading intellectual, and a professor at North South University.
Mr. Imran Ahmed, Managing Director (CC) of National Bank, attended the event as the Chief Guest. Among the Special Guests were Mr. Kazi Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge), Mr. Md. Abdur Rahim, Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge) and Mr. Md. Meshkat-ul-Anwar Khan Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge). Mr. Shah Syed Rafiul Bari, Principal of the National Bank Training Institute were also present. The workshop was attended in person by divisional and departmental heads of the bank’s head office. Additionally, regional heads, branch managers, and officers from across the country participated virtually through an online platform.
In this highly engaging workshop, Dr. Salimullah Khan offered deep and insightful discussions on the importance of good governance, ethics, and integrity — not only in the corporate environment but also in personal life. He also attentively listened to participants’ questions and comments, and responded to each with logical reasoning and clear explanations.
