The gold-saving platform also receives an honourable mention for financial inclusion at the Bangladesh Fintech Awards 2026
Gold Kinen Technologies Limited has won the Fintech Innovation of the Year award in the Tech category at the 4th Bangladesh Fintech Awards 2026, recognising its technology-driven approach to gold saving and financial inclusion.
The company also received an honourable mention in the Financial Inclusion category for its innovation, “Making Gold Accessible: A New Path to Financial Inclusion.”
The awards were received by the company’s three co-founders — Kamran Sunjoy Rahman, chief executive officer; Rafatul Bari Labib, chief commercial officer; and Atef Hasan Isa, chief financial officer.
This is the second consecutive year Gold Kinen has been recognised at the awards. In 2025, the company received an honourable mention in the Fintech Start-up of the Year category at the third edition of the Bangladesh Fintech Awards.
Gold Kinen operates a technology-enabled platform that allows customers to buy and save 22-karat hallmarked and certified gold in fractional amounts, starting from Tk 500 at the official market price. Customers can also redeem their accumulated savings as gold bars and coins in denominations ranging from 0.5 grams to 10 grams.
The platform aims to make gold saving more accessible by allowing customers to accumulate gold gradually according to their financial capacity.
The recognition comes as the company continues its nationwide gold-saving campaign featuring actor Mosharraf Karim, which seeks to raise public awareness of gold as a savings option.
Gold Kinen said the awards would encourage it to expand access to gold saving among different demographic groups across Bangladesh.
