A total of 100 officials from BRAC Bank have been officially certified by the Bangladesh Insurance Academy (BIA) after completing the ‘Bancassurance’ training. The officials in the 7th batch underwent intensive training under the guidance of expert trainers at the academy. The programme equipped them with the skills to provide seamless insurance services to customers through the bank’s extensive branch network. With this certification, the total number of Bancassurance-certified officials at BRAC Bank has reached approximately 700, further strengthening the bank’s capacity to offer a wide range of insurance solutions with efficiency and reliability. With the aim of proper implementation of Smoking and Use of Tobacco Products (Control) Act (Amendment-2013) initiative of Bangladesh Road Transport Authority-BRTA and Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Health Sector training has been provided to 160 public transport drivers at the Zoar Sahara BRTC Bus Depot in capital on April 8, 2025. Adut Rahman Imon, Program Officer of the Tobacco Control Project of the Health Sector of DAM, presented a documentary on implementing the Tobacco Control Act and health damage among professional drivers.
