11 days long course on the ‘Foundation Course for Probationary Officers and Other Officials’ (General Banking Module-Combined Batch) of National Bank Limited has been inaugurated at the Training Institute of the bank on February 9, 2025. 44 Officers from Head Office and different branches of NBL participated in this Training Course. Mr. Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director (Acting) of National Bank Limited was present in the Inauguration ceremony as the chief guest. Social forestry beneficiaries will receive funds from the Climate Trust Fund instead of tree sales profits– Environment Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan

Advisor to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the Ministry of Water Resources, Syeda Rizwana Hasan, stated that beneficiaries of social forestry will receive an equivalent amount from the Climate Trust Fund instead of tree sales profits. She emphasized the need to protect social forestry trees, allowing tree cutting only in urgent cases.
