A research Project “SirriS- Smart Solar Irrigation System” developed by the Centre for Energy Research of United International University (UIU) received the ‘Energy Globe Award 2022’ in the category of the World Award for Sustainability on November 14, 2022 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka. The Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival (DIMFF) organized a masterclass for independent storytellers and film enthusiasts on 15th November, 2022, at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). The masterclass on ‘Fundamental Aspects of Community Storytelling’ was conducted by Dr. Angelos Theocharis, a Postdoctoral Researcher at Durham University, England.
