Playwright Rajib Moni Das Receives AJFB Star Award

The Artist Journalist Foundation of Bangladesh (AJFB) has awarded playwright Rajib Moni Das with the ATN Bangla-AJFB Star Award. In the AJFB Star Award 2023-2024, Rajib Moni Das has been honored as the best playwright. The Artist Journalist Foundation of Bangladesh (AJFB) organized a grand ceremony on Sunday, 26 May, 2024, at the ATN Bangla Auditorium of the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) to recognize outstanding contributions in various branches of culture, presenting lifetime honors and awards. Every Eid, there's a push to do something extra special. Continuing this tradition, this year's Eid celebration includes 8 dramas scripted by playwright Rajib Moni Das. Each of these dramas features different characters and storylines. In fact, Rajib’s dramas stand out by being quite different from conventional tales. They not only offer fresh twists but also depict elements of social traditions. Four plays of Rajib Moni Das in Durga Puja

On the occasion of Durga Puja in the autumn, a special drama 'Italian Jamai' written by Rajib Moni Das and directed by Harun Rousseau will be aired on the YouTube channel of "Swapner Karigor" in October 13 at 3 pm. Akomo Hasan, Urmila Sravanti Kar, Jamal Raja, Adhara Priya, Sirajul Islam, Afroza Hossain and others will be seen in different roles in the play. The play is produced by Dream Artisan.
