‘Megher Kopat’ wins three awards at Global Independent Film Festival of India
Bangladeshi film ‘Megher Kopat’ won three awards at India's Global Independent Film Festival (GIFFI)-2023. The award was handed over to the director Walid Ahmed and producer Afroza Momen of the film ‘Megher Kopat’ at a grand ceremony in Kolkata on December 1, 2023 evening. The three awards are – ‘Best Foreign Film’, ‘Best Director (Foreign Film)’ and ‘Raj Kapoor Award’.
Organized for the third time by the Dreamz Cultural Association, this film festival features more than 400 films worldwide.
