BASIS Tribute at Bangabandhu’s Mausoleum
BASIS leaders visited Tungipara and paid tribute on behalf of the members of BASIS at the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Organized by The Advisory Standing Committee, the visit took place on the 5th of August and was attended by members of EC, the Advisory Standing Committee and the Secretariat.
The delegation placed a floral wreath led by BASIS President Russell T Ahmed and offered special prayer at the mausoleum seeking divine blessings for Bangabandhu and members of his family. BASIS President signed the Mourning Book. The team also took a tour around the entire complex that included visiting Bangabandhu's ancestral home and the museum.
