
A special street drama titled “Our Loved Ones, Our Responsibility”was performed by volunteers of the ‘Compassionate Narayanganj’ project to raise awareness about palliative care, social responsibility, and family values.
The drama was staged on Tuesday at 4 PM at the Shaheed Minar premises in Narayanganj city. It highlighted the importance of caring for neglected and helpless individuals, fulfilling family duties, and practicing humanity. A diverse audience gathered to watch the play and expressed their support for its message.
The initiative was supported by Narayanganj City Corporation and AYAT Education. Sumit Banik, Project Coordinator of AYAT Education, stated that the purpose of this event was to promote awareness about palliative care and the role of society in building a compassionate community.
The drama featured performers including Ananna Rahman, Fahim Hossain, Lamia Akter, Nusrat Jahan Brishti, Humayun Amini, Farzana, Afrin Akter, Fahima Haque, Rizvi, Saiful Islam, and Puja Rani Sarkar. Other volunteers from the Compassionate Narayanganj project also contributed to the event’s success, with overall direction provided by Sarwar Alam.
After the performance, the organizers emphasized that raising awareness was the main goal of the event. They expressed hope that the drama would inspire positive change in society and that similar initiatives would continue in the future.
