Captivating metal band Opartheeb from Ottawa, Canada, is thrilled to announce the release of their debut album `Abchha Neel Kona’ scheduled for release on March 28. 2025. The album will be available on all major digital streaming platforms.
The 7-track album `Abchha Neel Kona’ explores themes of hope, resilience, unity etc. through a blend of orchestra and power metal rhythm. The music video for the album’s title track `Abchha Neel Kona’ has already been shot and post-production work is underway.
Vocal & guitarist Salehin says, ‘we by now released 5-tracks of this album. The endless love and passion of international and domestic audiences for our music touches us deeply. The support and love from our listeners has been a huge inspiration for our work on first album. We believe, music is the medium that will take us back to the people of our country again and again.’
Opartheeb first appeared on stage in 2009 when all the band members were students of Carleton University. Currently, all five members of the band live in Ottawa, Canada and the band is made up of Syed Adnan Ali Kiron (Drums), Salehin Chowdhury Uchchhas (Vocal & Guitar), Asfin Hyder Disha (Vocal), Adyan Faisal Purna (Keyboard) Syed Ahsan Ali Kiron (Base Guitar).
In October 2025, Opartheeb held a live concert titled `Abchha Neel Kona’ in aid of flood victims in various parts of the Bangladesh, where three other Bangla Bands performed in addition to Opartheeb. The band has been steadily gaining recognition in the local and international scene. They aim to share their music with a global audience and encourage people to live more passionately.
Last February 2025, the 5th track of this album `Pathik’ released on YouTube and the album’s producer, popular guitarist and guitar trainer Sajjadul Arefin, was the guest guitarist for this track.
