JUJA placed wreaths at National Memorial

Jahangirnagar University Journalism Association (JUJA) paid tribute to the Liberation War martyrs by placing wreaths at the National Memorial here this morning marking the 53rd Independence and National Day. Belal Hossain, the President of this association, along with members of this association placed wreaths at the altar of the memorial around 8.00am. The president of this association argues in his speech on this special day; “Freedom of speech and freedom of getting information be the acquirement. To finish all kinds of difficulties of law, the government needs to work hard.” At that time, Arifujjaman Ujjal (Vice-president of JUJA), Shahdat Hossain (Joint General Secretary), Imran Hossain Himu (Treasurer) and other members attended there. In addition, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation, proclaimed the independence of Bangladesh on 26 March, in 1971 to resist against the Pakistani Military for achieving independence.
