ISD’s students make it to Top 20 in 7th ANU Business Case Study Competition 2024

 Students from International School Dhaka (ISD) earned a place among the Top 20 World Schools in the 7th ANU Business Case Study Competition 2024. ISD was the first school in Bangladesh to attend the event. Two teams, The Money Analysis Nerds and R.A.A.M, have participated in the competition; The Money Analysis Nerds reached the final round. The competition was recently held virtually. A total of 217 students participated in the 7th ANU Business Case Study Competition 2024, representing 60 teams from 40 schools across 8 different nations.
ANU (Australian National University) College of Business and Economics (CBE) hosted the 7th annual ANU Business Case Study Competition 2024. It’s a virtual competition that brings together students from Years 11 and 12 to showcase their problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Each team is provided with a case study of a fictional business. The team members have to write a report advising the business. The competition is an ideal opportunity for high school learners to challenge their understanding of analyzing and presenting corporate governance, financial information, and effective decision-making in a business setting.
The Money Analysis Nerds successfully competed against other students from all around the globe and reached the final round. The team consisted of three members: Aditya Varshney, Niyarah Mahbub, and Shamsunnahar Binte Mohiuddin. They all were from Grade 11.
Regarding such global recognition, Steve Calland-Scoble, Director, International School Dhaka, expressed, “We feel extremely pleased that our students have successfully competed and have attained such prestigious recognition among the global schools. I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the members of The Money Analysis Nerds team for making it to the Top 20 and R.A.A.M for their commendable performance in making it to the 3rd quartile in the 7th ANU Business Case Study Competition 2024.
