With the aim of connecting young students and technology innovators in Bangladesh to a world-class educational and innovation platform, CloudCamp Bangladesh, in collaboration with Daffodil International University, is set to organize the ‘International AI Builders Congress 2026’. The theme of this year’s Congress is ‘Where the World’s AI Builders Create the Technology of Tomorrow.’
The day-long event will be held on 26 December 2026, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, at the Daffodil International University campus in Birulia, Savar, Dhaka. Participation in the Congress is completely free and open to everyone. Registration is currently ongoing.
At a press conference held today at the university’s Green Garden Hall, the organizers presented details of the Congress, including its structure, programs and objectives. They said that the International AI Builders Congress 2026 is neither a conventional hackathon nor a one-day conference; rather, it is an integrated platform built around a long-term global AI builder journey. The journey, which began in July this year, will conclude on 26 December with a one-day global showcase.
One of the key goals of the initiative is to bring together more than 5,000 AI builders on a single platform. Participants will work across 11 global domains and 55 challenge tracks to identify real-world problems and develop innovative AI-powered solutions.
The competitive activities of the Congress are divided into two main categories. Participants may take part in both competitions if they wish.
Team-Built Product Competition: In this competition, teams of 3 to 5 members will develop a production-ready AI product through a long-term building process. Over the course of nearly six months, teams will have the opportunity to build, test and refine their products with the goal of solving real-world problems.
AI-Native Single Prompt Application Building Challenge: A total of 500 participants selected at the preliminary stage will use only one master prompt on Event Day to build a complete enterprise-grade application live within one hour. The challenge is designed to demonstrate how a full public enterprise-grade application ecosystem can be created from a single master prompt. Selected participants will take part in a live one-hour building session on Event Day, showcasing the future potential of AI-assisted software engineering.
One of the Congress’s special initiatives, ‘Opportunity Connect’, is a year-round platform where participants will have the opportunity to join pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings with recruiters, investors and higher-education advisors. Through this platform, participants may also gain access to potential opportunities in employment, internships, investment and higher-education scholarships.
Each team will be supported by experienced mentors. Mentors will guide participants in project direction, software architecture review, product development and preparation for the final presentation.
At the same time, the active participation of expatriate Bangladeshi and Non-Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) experts will help teams connect with global knowledge, experience and professional perspectives.
On Event Day, a judging panel comprising experts will evaluate each team’s project. Five key criteria will be considered in the evaluation: innovation, technical excellence, business potential, global scalability and responsible AI.
Winners will receive approximately BDT 1 million in cash prizes, along with trophies and recognition, Certificates of Achievement, exclusive partner benefits, media recognition and opportunities to participate in the global showcase.
