Glenrich International School has organised GlenDeur 2025 on May 10, 2025, at Glenrich Satarkul Campus. The event has brought over 400 students from Grades 1 to 5 in a vibrant celebration of global folklore, tradition, and cultural diversity.
The theme of the GlenDeur 2025 was folklore, and it invited students and guests on an imaginative journey across continents through dance, storytelling, and drama. The event occurred in two slots: from 9:00 am to 11:00 am for Grades 1 and 2, and from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm for Grades 3 to 5.
Each segment featured country-themed performances that combined cultural facts with creative expression. Highlights include an energetic Carnival and football tribute from Brazil, a Kabuki and Samurai showcase from Japan, and colourful Masai and animal dances from Tanzania. The culture and tradition of Bangladesh were proudly represented through dramatisation scenes of Ananda Shobhajatra, Kalboishakhi Jhor (The Storm), and Pahela Baishakh.
The students have also taken the audience through Egypt’s ancient trading scenes and ukulele performance, Australia’s Aboriginal dance and cricket skit, India’s Bharatnatyam and Holi dance, and Mexico’s vibrant Tapatío Jalisco dance and costume showcase.
On this occasion, Ramesh Mudgal, Principal of Glenrich International School Satarkul, said, “GlenDeur is more than a cultural showcase; it’s an event where young learners gain more knowledge about countries and get the opportunity to grow as global citizens. Exploring world traditions teaches them to respect diversity, build empathy, and enhance creativity.”
