On May 6, 2024, the debut of the ‘Cumilla Kings’ cricket team was held at the Star Kebab restaurant located in New York at 8 pm. Mohammad E Haque-MD was the chief guest on the occasion. Mofizul Islam Bhuiyan (Romee), Kazi Tofail and MD Yunus Sarkar were present as guests of honour. MD Abul Hossain, MD Nazrul Islam, KM Kamrul Ahsan, MD Hasanuzzaman, MD Suman Khan, Mohammad Hasan and Mohammad Kashem Aziz were present as special guests. The program was conducted through recitation of Quran and the national anthem. The organizers of the event gifted the guests presents with crest and ‘Cumilla Kings’ team logo and head caps and badges. The invited guests gave their valuable speeches one by one. Cumilla Kings team jersey was unveiled with everyone present and the team jersey was handed over to the players. Finally, dinner and cake cutting concluded the event.
