The British Council has recently conducted a Young Learner Art Competition for children aged 7 to 17 years, at the Dhaka University, Fuller Road centre. Teachers at the British Council delivered lessons to foster creativity and encourage young learners to discover how to communicate their ideas in different media. This year’s competition theme was “Colours of the World,” highlighting diversity, culture, and the beauty of differences as seen from the eyes of children. It was held across four levels: Lower Primary (age 8 and under), Upper Primary (9-11 years), Secondary (12-15 years), and Upper Secondary level (16 years +).
