UIU Team Wins 2nd Place at Global Business Simulation Challenge – RETO 2024

'Team A' from United International University (UIU) won 2nd place in the Global Business Simulation Challenge – RETO 2024 organized by The Company Game. The final round of the competition was recently held in Barcelona, Spain, through a virtual platform. The RETO Business Simulation Challenge, a prestigious competition that attracts universities worldwide, simulates real-life economic and business processes, allowing participants to manage a business in a virtual setting. This year’s competition saw participation from over 30 countries, including Spain, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, the USA, the UK, and India. UIU Team 3rd Place in Asia at CanSat Competition 2024

The UIU ASTRO team from United International University (UIU) won 3rd place in Asia and 11th place in the world at the CanSat Competition 2024 organized by the American Astronautical Society (AAS). The competition was held on June 6-9, 2024 in Virginia, USA. The Competition was sponsored by NASA, US Naval Research Lab (NRL), Siemens among others. CanSat is an annual student design-build-launch competition for space-related topics that involves designing a satellite capsule (container and probe). This satellite needs to be launched and deployed at a height of about 670 to 725 meters, and demonstrate successful deployment and landing sequences till the probe lands successfully. UIU Mars Rover won 1st Place in Asia for the third time in a row at University Rover Challenge 2024

The UIU Mars Rover team from United International University (UIU) won 1st place in Asia for the third time in a row at the University Rover Challenge 2024 organized by the Mars Society. The competition was held on 29 May – 01 June 2024 at the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) in Hanksville, Utah, USA. The “UIU Mars Rover Team” stood 1st in Asia in 2022 and 2023 at the University Rover Challenge Competition. During the three-day final, the teams performed four missions including science exploration, autonomous navigation, extreme terrain traversal and Equipment servicing missions to demonstrate the capabilities of their rover and operation skills. Daffodil International University students to represent Bangladesh at NASA

"Team Diamonds", a team of students from the Department of Software Engineering, Daffodil International University (DIU), won the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2022 as the "Most Inspirational" project. The team is now heading to NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration – to represent the country as the champions of this prestigious international competition.
