Mr. Nafis Nawal, a student of United International University (UIU) won 1stplaceas an Independent Author in theBlitz Competition at the IV International Youth Photo Festival ‘NO FRAMES’. The competition was recently heldin Chelyabinsk, Russia.
Among over 300 participants from different countries, Nafis Nawal excelled in the Blitz competition titled “One Day in the Life of Chelyabinsk,” demonstrating outstanding photographic talent and creative vision. The competition was judged by a distinguished panel, including Chairman Rashid Usmanov, Sergey Moskvin, and Alena Ivochkina, recognized experts in the field of photography.
In addition to this, Nafis’s team secured an Honorable Mention for being one of the Top Five Photo Projects in the ‘Art in Action’ program. Nafis’s team also received the prestigious ‘BEST AUTHOR’S APPROACH’ award for their project on the theme ‘Изменения’ (‘Changes’). This program, which focused on working with youth through visual research and photo projects, further highlighted Nafis’s leadership and creativity.The competition was organized by the Association of Photographers ‘EURASIA’.
To mark the victory and share the joy and appreciation, Nafis Nawal met the Vice Chancellor’s Office and presented the champion trophy to Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia, Vice Chancellor of UIU. The Vice Chancellorcommended Nafis Nawal for their outstanding achievement and applauded their representation of UIU on an international stage. He expressed his pride in Nafis’ achievements and reiterated his commitment to supporting the students of the university to excel in all fields.
