The Bangladesh Development Communications Forum (BDCF) is organizing a Masterclass on Ethical Storytelling for Development Communications on May 10, 2025, at the YWCA Guest House & Training Center in Mohammadpur.

Facelifted by renowned photographer and documentary filmmaker Mohammad Rakibul Hasan, this interactive workshop will help participants refine their storytelling techniques, challenge harmful visual narratives, and connect with industry professionals.

Designed for junior- to mid-level development and humanitarian communications professionals, this session is ideal for anyone passionate about ethical storytelling and effective communication.

Tony Michael Gomes, Director of Strategic Communication, CARE Bangladesh, an organizer from BDCF, emphasized the significance of the workshop, stating: “Ethical storytelling is not just about sharing stories—it’s about ensuring dignity, accuracy, and impact. This masterclass will equip professionals with the skills to craft narratives that inspire change while respecting the communities they represent.”
