Banglalink has announced a 1GB free data offer to support its customers in various parts of the country where mobile network connectivity is being frequently disrupted due to ongoing electricity outages.
As a people-first brand, the digital operator stated that the initiative aims to ease the burden on those facing challenges during the current fuel crisis. Recognizing that loss of connectivity often results in frustration and prevents access to essential information, the company is taking this step to ensure consumers remain connected to their loved ones.
Under this initiative, eligible customers in areas experiencing prolonged power cuts will receive 1GB of free internet with a 24-hour validity. Eligible users will be notified via SMS once the offer is activated in their respective locations.
Kazi Mahboob Hassan, Chief Marketing Officer at Banglalink, said the brand believes in standing by people during times of crisis.
“As connectivity is often disrupted due to extended power outages, we believe it is our time to give back to the consumers,” he said. “We aim to ensure the best possible connectivity for all our users, but we also understand the reality of this crisis. We have decided to make a small effort to stand beside our customers through this initiative.”
The move highlights Banglalink’s commitment to responding with empathy and delivering meaningful support to its user base when it is needed the most.
