Bizzmakr, a growing freelancer-powered business solutions platform, successfully organized its latest Campus Activation Program at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) on 14–15 June, aiming to help young people identify, develop, and apply skills that can unlock real opportunities.
Founded on a unique model where all contributors work as freelancers, and a platform that matches freelancers with businesses through swipe-based mechanics, Bizzmakr is committed to bridging the gap between learning and employability. Through its Campus Activation Program, the platform seeks to equip students with practical insights, market-relevant skills, and a clearer understanding of how they can transform their passions into meaningful careers.
The two-day program took place in a large tent set up on the JUST campus premises and remained open to students, faculty members, and staff. Activities were conducted from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on both days, attracting enthusiastic participation of over a thousand participants from the university community.
As part of the event, Bizzmakr Founder A S M Rafiul Haque conducted an interactive session titled ‘Passion to Possibility’ on 15 June in the JUST auditorium. During the session, he discussed the current state of the freelancing industry, emerging opportunities in the digital economy, and how students can convert their skills, interests, and ideas into sustainable professional opportunities.
The session also featured an engaging interactive game that helped participants identify which types of freelancing and professional work best align with their personalities, strengths, and interests. Attendees were additionally introduced to the Bizzmakr platform and mobile app through a live demonstration, showcasing how the platform connects talent with opportunities.
Speaking about the initiative, A S M Rafiul Haque, Founder of Bizzmakr, said, “Young people spend years learning, but many struggle to find opportunities to apply what they know. Our goal is to help students discover their potential, identify market-relevant skills, and prepare themselves for the realities of the modern workforce. Through our Campus Activation Programs, we want to inspire youth to move beyond academic learning and develop practical capabilities that can create real economic opportunities.”
The JUST activation marks the latest chapter in Bizzmakr’s ongoing youth engagement efforts. Earlier, the platform participated in the National Youth Festival at BRAC University and Flow Fest at Gulshan Club, where it connected with students and young professionals interested in skill development, freelancing, and entrepreneurship.
As Bangladesh’s digital economy continues to expand, Bizzmakr aims to play a meaningful role in preparing the next generation of professionals by fostering practical skills, career readiness, and a culture of continuous learning. Through its Campus Activation Program and other initiatives, the platform remains focused on helping youth transform potential into possibility.
Through technology, community engagement, and skill development initiatives, Bizzmakr is working to strengthen Bangladesh’s freelance economy and empower local talent to contribute more effectively to the country’s digital and economic growth.
