
With the aim of maintaining the highest standards in daily operations in line with the organizational policies, mission, vision, and values, Dhaka Ahsania Mission has been regularly organizing capacity-building trainings and workshops for its staff.
Under the initiative of the Health Sector of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, a workshop titled “Prevention of Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and Child Protection Policy” was held on Thursday (21 May 2026), with the participation of colleagues from different institutes and projects under the Health Sector.
The day-long workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Mokhlesur Rahman, Deputy Director of the Health Sector of Dhaka Ahsania Mission. He stated, “Dhaka Ahsania Mission is committed to ensuring a safe and respectful working environment where the safety and protection of all members associated with the mission, including staff, consultants, volunteers, partners, and participants of various programs, are ensured so that they do not face any form of discrimination, harassment, sexual abuse, exploitation, or other inappropriate behavior.”
Among others present at the event were Dr. Nayla Parvin, Assistant Director of the Health Sector, and Tarek Masud, Coordinator (Administration).
The workshop was facilitated by Mahfida Deyna Rubaiya, Safeguarding Committee Focal Person and Project Manager of the Health Sector; Sammia Sakin, Co-Focal Person and Senior Human Resources Officer; and Md. Shariful Islam, Co-Focal Person and Project Coordinator.
Staff members from various projects and institutes under the Health Sector participated in the workshop.
