14th edition of Intex Bangladesh begins on 30 May

The 14th edition of Intex Bangladesh, the premier international textile sourcing show, begins on 30th May 2024 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka.

This international textile sourcing expo connects Bangladesh’s textiles and garment industry with a range of innovators and suppliers from across the globe. The three-day expo will bring the country’s finest RMG exporters, local and international brands and sourcing offices together under one roof.

This year more than 200 companies from over 10 countries will showcase the latest trends in fibres, yarns, fabrics, accessories, solutions and services for exports as well as domestic consumption.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sunil Patwari, Chairman of TEXPROCIL said, “Intex Bangladesh offers a strategic platform for Indian textile companies to connect with Bangladesh’s thriving RMG sector. TEXPROCIL’s India Pavilion will facilitate new business partnerships and collaborations, driving growth across the Bangladesh and South Asian textile and apparel value chain. This year our members will display sustainable, organic cotton textiles as well as ‘Kasturi Cotton’ an initiative of the Indian Government, which will assist Bangladeshi industries fulfil requirements of overseas buyers.”

Mr. K. Sakthivel, Vice Chairman of PDEXCIL also stated, “PDEXCIL is participating at Intex Bangladesh to connect with key players and boost South Asian textiles. Presenting curated Indian products for Bangladesh, we aim to grow India-Bangladesh exports. Intex Bangladesh is a platform to strengthen ties, forge partnerships, and unlock mutual growth for both nations. We look forward to building strong connections that propel the entire industry forward.”

This dedicated expo will also showcase performance, functional and eco-friendly materials from leading Asian suppliers, empowering Bangladeshi manufacturers to source and cater to a wider market and fulfil the ever-increasing demand for high value garments.
Intex Bangladesh assists manufacturers and exporters expand offerings in their key markets while also helping to develop new opportunities in non-traditional markets by connecting manufacturers, exporters, industry professionals from sourcing, design, supply chain, merchandising & product development with a global network of pre-vetted suppliers from South Asia, Southeast Asia (ASEAN), China, Hong Kong, and other countries and regions.
The expo will also see the presence of an increasing number of international buyers looking to fulfil their buying requirements and explore sourcing opportunities from Bangladesh.
