TECNO, the global premium smartphone brand, has officially partnered with the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) as the Title Sponsor for the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers in Bangladesh, reaffirming its commitment to supporting national football and engaging fans across the country.
The signing ceremony took place in Dhaka, attended by senior officials from both TECNO and BFF, including Rezwanul Hoque, CEO of Ismartu Technology BD Limited, and Emran Hossain Tushar, General Secretary at Bangladesh Football Federation.
As part of this partnership, TECNO will become the Title Sponsor for the highly anticipated Bangladesh vs. Hong Kong AFC Asian Cup Qualifier match, scheduled for 9 October 2025 at the National Stadium, Dhaka. This follows TECNO’s successful sponsorship of the Bangladesh vs. Bhutan and Bangladesh vs. Singapore qualifier matches earlier this year, further strengthening the brand’s association with Bangladeshi football and its passionate fans.
Speaking at the ceremony, Rezwanul Hoque, CEO of Ismartu Technology BD Limited, said:
“TECNO is proud to continue its journey with Bangladeshi football as the Title Sponsor of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers. This partnership reflects our commitment to the beautiful game and to inspiring fans nationwide through our bold brand spirit, ‘Stop at Nothing.”
Emran Hossain Tushar, General Secretary at BFF:
“We welcome TECNO’s continued support for Bangladeshi football. Partnerships like these play a vital role in developing the sport in our country and inspiring young players to dream big.”
TECNO’s global football journey began in 2016 with Manchester City FC, marking a major milestone in connecting with fans worldwide through sport. Since then, TECNO has expanded its football presence by becoming the Official Global Supporter of AFC Club Competitions for the 2024–2025 season, including the AFC Champions League Elite, AFC Champions League Two, and AFC Women’s Champions League, as well as the exclusive smartphone partner AFCON 2025.
With this collaboration, TECNO continues to celebrate the nation’s love for football while reinforcing its legacy as a global supporter of the beautiful game.
