Southeast University Hosts Discussion on July Remembrance
Southeast University honored 'July Remembrance 2025' with a solemn discussion and documentary screening on Friday, July 18, 2025. Held at the university's Multipurpose Hall, the event highlighted the sacrifices of martyrs Abu Saeed, Mugdha, and four other Southeast University martyrs. Speakers emphasized the significance of the movement and the pioneering role students played.
The discussion, presided over by Southeast University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, featured Mrs. Farzana Munmun, also known as Munamma, aunt of martyr Farhan Fayyaz, as a special guest speaker. Professor Dr. M. Mofazzal Hossain, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Southeast University, also delivered a special address.
