Shorna Das joins Malaysia Airlines Berhad as Bangladesh Country Manager
Malaysia Airlines Berhad (AB Global Sales) has announced the appointment of Shorna Das as the new Country Manager for Bangladesh. This strategic move aims to bolster the airline’s presence and operations in the Bangladeshi market.
Shorna is the first youngest woman in the aviation trade to become a country manager.
Shorna Das brings a wealth of experience to her new position. She began her aviation career with Jet Airways India Limited in 2016 as an intern, eventually rising to the role of Assistant Manager – Marketing & E-commerce before leaving the company in 2019.
After Jet Airways ceased operations in 2019, she joined GoFirst Airlines in 2020 as Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing.
