Rafiqur Rashid and Akimun Rahman to Receive the “Rebel Fiction Writer Abdur Rouf Choudhury Literary Award 2026”
The “Rebel Fiction Writer Abdur Rouf Choudhury Literary Award 2026,” instituted in memory of rebel fiction writer Abdur Rouf Choudhury, will be conferred upon renowned fiction writer Rafiqur Rashid and fiction writer-essayist Akimun Rahman.
The award ceremony will be held on 4 April 2026 at 3PM at the Chitrasala Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, where the medals will be formally presented to the recipients. The event will be graced by Abul Kasem Fazlul Haq, President of Bangla Academy, as the Chief Guest.
