Online Editors Alliance President Hasan Sharif, GS Mizan Sohel
The Online Editors Alliance, a platform for the heads of online and digital divisions of the country's leading online news media, newspapers and television outlets in Bangladesh, was officially launched on Thursday (December 12).
Hasan Sharif, Online Editor of Daily Naya Diganta, was elected as President, while Mizanur Rahman Sohel, Head of Online at Daily Bhorer Kagoj, was appointed as General Secretary. The alliance also formed a 13-member executive committee for a one-year term.
The announcement was made during a meeting attended by representatives from 35 prominent media organizations. It marks a significant step towards enhancing coordination, experience sharing, and skill development in digital journalism.
